Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couch-surfed around the world since I was 17 but only recently joined Couchsurfing. I'm looking forward to meeting people and swapping travel needs.

I like Jane Austen, Bible, Shakespeare, Shel Silverstein, Tommie dePaola, Charles Dickens, Dorothy Sayers, Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, David Baldacci, Patrick O'Brian, James Michener, Leon Uris...any kinds of music, especially folk or ethnic and especially participatory... and dancing, even though I'm not great, especially to ethnic music, like ukulele, bluegrass, contra dancing, round and square dancing, hula, belly dancing, Greek dancing, line dancing...

Long term Volunteer Interpretive Ranger for the National Park System. I have served in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument so far. I'm loving this gig!

Meine Interessen
Just about everything- wherever I am and whomever I am with is interesting. Right now it is volcanology and the various sciences pertinent, like geology, history, botany, biology, spirituality, ad infinitum. Hiking, reading, maintaining friendships, harnessing and driving draft horses, biking, cooking and baking, homemaking, knitting, meeting and getting to know people, canoeing, snorkeling, sky diving... and trying new things. I love, more than anything else, hanging out and sharing stories of life, especially over a good meal.
