I do some travels from time to time and I feel the best way to connect with a place is to connect with the people who live in it. Also I love sharing my own space and community with others. There is no better way to gain perspective in life than hearing others’ stories! I will likely not accept you if you send a super generic request. Lately it seems few people are putting any effort their requests and I feel like that’s not really the spirit of couchsurfing!
