Hi surfers! I am a traveler that is new to platform in that I have actually never couch surfed or hosted despite being signed up for some time.😳 I live a semi-nomadic life after years of working full time in various jobs around Canada and sometimes abroad. However, my desire for travel, new skills and new connections over took my enjoyment of stability and career growth and for the last five years I have been traveling, taking on new jobs and training for new adventures like scientific diving, surfing, sailing and birding. I sometimes have a small space I rent on Vancouver Island but often I go away to work and have accomodation provided. Other time I travel around western Canada in my converted Subaru, camping, surfing, hiking and couch surfing with friends and family. I would love to connect more with locals in the countries I visit rather than stay in hostels (sometimes Airbnb). I am extremely tidy, very handy, quiet while in shared spacesand usually head out for exploration/exercise during days 🐦🌲and perhaps some dancing at night. 💃 I am also very open to labour trade🔨🪚 and helping out with small projects if you need it. I recently worked as a cook for a crew of scientists, filmographers and conservationists on a sailing yatch so I have great cooking skills to offer too! 🧄🔪🌮 Hope to meet some of you in the future. 🙏
