Staying with locals is far superior than staying at hostel. I hope that if someone lends me their couch then one day when I'm settled in somewhere I'll be able return the favor.

I took an instant leap of faith recently by accepting a job to teach English in Beijing. I have little knowledge of the Chinese language and I have never visited China. So off I will be off in March, flying by the seat of my pants
