I travel a lot, and love meeting new people and having new experiences. When in the U.S., I play ultimate frisbee, run, hike, bike, brew beer, practice hot-power yoga, and do outdoorsy things.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I love meeting new people and having unique experiences abroad! I typically will rent an Airbnb or get a room at a hotel if I’m traveling for work, but I’m definitely up for meeting people after hours.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
I like all kinds of music, especially live. Alternative / Indy Rock; Classic Rock; Bluegrass; Jazz - are my go-tos. Books - I don't read enough… I enjoy books like The Omnivore's Dilemma; How to change your Mind; The Martian; Born to Run; Predictably Irrational; Freakonomics; and other quality fiction and non-fiction! Movies - lots of them.
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Run across the Grand Canyon and back in one day. It's hard to limit it to just one... so here are some others: - Climb Mt Whitney (in a firestorm!) - bikepacked 250 miles to 12 breweries in Vermont - Hiked some long trails - Played at College Ultimate Nationals (and masters!) - Write a book!
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I'm super-knowledgeable about all things energy / environment / sustainability related. And craft beer related. I can brew a batch of beer with you (and explain the process & theory); I can share some bikes and tour Atlanta with you (with some good stories to boot!).
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
Enthusiasm for a fun night out! I can be a faithful assistant and enthusiastic guest! I can also teach you to throw a disc (I usually travel with one.)
Meine Interessen
I've been brewing beer for 15 years or so, I have a couple of taps at my house with homebrew. I have played ultimate frisbee semi- competitively for a long time. Since the pandemic I’ve taken up competitive running… I used to practice yoga regularly as well, but gave it up to run trails in the forest during the pandemic…
