Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
It's great to communicate and meet people from faraway places and share travel experience. You don't really get the taste of the place you've travelled to if you don't hang out with locals who know the best places around. It's also a way to keep my language skills up-to-date.

I traveled from Riga (Latvia) to Shanghai (China) by trains to see a total solar eclipse. A fantastic experience. More about the trip: http://2012.eclipse-tour.org/ Now it's time to travel to USA for another solar eclipse in August 2017.

I can tell more about stars and constellations in the night sky, we can learn some salsa steps (since I have been teaching salsa for several years), share some exciting stories about our travel experiences and just hang out around the nicest places [nightlife]. Also I want to try surfing [have never done that]. All sorts of water activities are what I look forward to.
