Hey there, world! Welcome to my little corner where I share a glimpse of who I am. While there's so much I could say, I'll focus on the essentials – the things a guest might want to know about me. My journey began at 19 when I made the bold decision to break away from society. I gave away all my belongings and embarked on a transformative adventure, living out of a humble backpack. One of my main motivations was to reconnect with my father in Bulgaria after a decade of separation, which led me to hitchhike across Europe. Through the stunning landscapes of the UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia, I eventually reached Bulgaria. I must admit, my travel philosophy of "going where the road takes me" made my journey to Eastern Europe a bit more winding than planned, but every detour was a lesson learned and a memory cherished. The chapter of my life dedicated to that pursuit has concluded, but my story continues. Now, I find myself back in my homeland, navigating the waters of readjustment to the modern world. Hosting fellow Couchsurfing travelers has become my way of giving back to the community that restored my faith in the inherent goodness of humanity. As for the timing of your stay, I'm a spontaneous soul who prefers last-minute requests. Please understand that I don't plan too far ahead, and I might just take off on another adventure if you inquire two weeks or more in advance. So, a notice of one, two, or three days would be ideal for me. Oh, and by the way, you don't need to worry about secret codes or crafting elaborate personal messages when reaching out to me. I'm all about keeping it simple and laid-back, just like the carefree traveler I once was. Hosting CS travelers not only brings joy to my heart but also helps me combat any lingering traces of "PTSD" – the post-travel stress disorder. So, consider yourself welcome with open arms, and let's share stories, experiences, and laughter as we create new memories together. Cheers!

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I'm on couchsurfing to give myself the opportunity to meet like minded travellers. When I am travelling, I feel as though couchsurfing is a great way of experiencing the places I go in a unique and well budgeted way. To experience new culture, languages, art, places, customs, everything! I just can't get enough of that and that is why I'm so eager to couchsurf.

Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Here's 3: I hitchhiked into the Sahara desert. I went scuba diving in the red sea in Egypt where I saw a famous glass shelled turtle named Dave. I saved my friend from drowning in the river Tay in Scotland. After tackling the rapids together, I was able to drag him out on the opposite side of the river. It took us until sundown, wearing nothing but our trunks to find a bridge to get us back to the main side of the river and ultimately, home. The next morning I climbed Ben Nevis.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I used to work for an outdoor environmental education program in central Massachusetts. I consider it a job/home that I can always go back to. I would teach kids about the wonders of nature and how to conserve valuable resources that some of us take for granted, like food and water. What I found during my time here is that I can learn just as much from these kids as they can from me. These are the types of lessons we cannot be taught by reading a textbook.
