I'm a transplanted Oregonian, from Eugene, who found blue sky and sunshine, as well as a beautiful mountain town, here in southwest Colorado. Recently retired, I am enjoying my free time to explore this area and myself. What's next? Not sure, but luckily I'm healthy and curious. I am on to new adventures.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I have two bedrooms. It's a shame to waste space and resources when folks simply need a temporary safe place to rest their heads and get a shower. I prefer to host one guest at a time, for just one or two days. Should the need arise, and the connection be 'right' I would extend the time the Surfer stayed here. I've had Couchsurfers return, extend their visit, and even wind up renting the room for a month. Ya never know!!!! I like to meet new folks and make connections. Just today I learned a lot from a Couchsurfer passing through Colorado. I'm currently very content to stay here in Colorado and get to know the region but hopefully I myself will be 'on the road' and would like be a surfer.......

Meine Interessen
Traveling reading , my family and friends, music, staying healthy, gardening, hiking, adventuring...... Teaching, but not now. I need to rest after retirement. When I get rested, I'll volunteer or tutor. Having fun!
