Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
Joined in in 2007, I was introduced to what came naturally to my family... being hospitable. For so many people having a stranger in your home was terrifying and therefore impossible. But I set about Couchsurfing and explored California , San Francisco, Marin County, Mendocino, to way up North. When arriving home in Cape Town, I hosted many people of all ages and all nationalities.

Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Stuck in the airport at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for 9 days... sleeping on benches, sneaking WiFi and meals in the Business class lounge, avoiding the authorities who wanted to send me home... Why? I had ordered a new passport but it had not arrived before my flight I took to Ethiopia. I was unable to enter on a temporary passport. Eventually my passport arrived. It was the first time that myself and my girlfriend had been travelling together! We were still getting to know eachother! So it was quite a challenging introduction to the man who would soon be father of our twin boys!
