Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I love meeting new people and making new friends. While travelling I enjoy seeing new places, places that are beautiful, interesting or simply different from anything I've seen before. Sharing these new adventures with either fellow travellers or locals makes the whole experience unforgettable and even more fun and meaningful, I believe.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Jason Mraz, Ingrid Michaelson, Mumford and Sons & Sara Bareilles are probably the musicians I listen to most of the time. But I also enjoy music I can dance to. I enjoy reading auto-biographies, memoirs, thrillers and crime novels. Of course I also love the Harry Potter and the Hungergames books. I can't really choose a favorite movie, there are so many of them that I like. I just don't really like horror movies, other than that I am really open to any kind of movie. TV shows are a passion of mine, so to say :D My favorite one is Parks and Recreation :)
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
This might not be very amazing since a lot of people do it nowadays but I have been an exchange student in the US when I was 17. I not only stayed with a wonderful family but became part of the family :) I am still in touch with them and with a few close friends I made :) I had such an amazing time and grew a lot during the year away from my home, family and friends in Germany.
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
I enjoy German food or food in general, so I could cook and bake for my host :) I will also clean the kitchen afterwards ;) Of course I can tell you a lot about German culture and teach German.
Meine Interessen
I love TV shows and movies, theater, cooking, baking and being creative. I like to experience other cultures, see beautiful places and meet interesting people. My latest hobby is improv theater! I love the philosophy behind it of saying 'yes' to everything and not being afraid to fail because failing does not exist in improv theater :) It is as much fun to watch as it is to participate in it. I also enjoy board and card games :)
