Hi there! I'm a fellow travelbug. :) I'm down to earth, adventurous, and kind-hearted. I am drawn to those who are like-minded.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I'm opening up my travel style to more solo trips and would love to meet new people! I have space to accommodate in Toronto at the moment, but only sporadically as my schedule varies quite a bit.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Music: Alt rock for whatever, pop for being silly and happy, ambient for working, hard rock for biking/walking/working out. Movies: The classics like Labyrinth, Princess Bride, and Heathers. Things-that-make-you-go hmmm: Se7en, Fight Club, The Secretary, Short Bus. All-the-superhero-things: Avengers series, Batman (Dark Knight series is my fave), Kick-Ass. Pretty much anything by Tim Burton and/or Johnny Depp. Books: Horror/Fantasy. I read the occasional historical fiction. Or whatever jumps out at me.
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
One? :) I went to Guatemala on a humanitarian mission in Feb 2012. We were there to build a house for a family...but it was so much more than that.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I've had quite a bit of experiencing adapting to different situations and places, having moved every 3 years for my entire life. I'm always open to hearing from others!
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
I'm pretty easy going and can talk about almost anything...well, except politics. :) I'm always up for an adventure, but perfectly happy to be invisible if that's what you prefer. No, I don't have an invisibility cape. THAT would be cool to share!
Meine Interessen
I'm a computer geek by profession and I love gadgets and PC/console gaming. I read as much as possible, which is not enough these days, admittedly! Traveling, obviously, is a highlight for me and I do it as often as possible. I dabble in photography. I play hockey (goalie). I love a good amber ale or IPA just as much as a martini or a scotch (single ice cube!). One of my favorite things to do in a new city is to try the local food.
