CURRENT MISSION To stay afloat ABOUT ME I live on a narrow boat with my partner Mehmet, Lula the cat and Damballah the boa. We tend to float around the east end of the city more than anywhere else but like to take little excursions when the mood takes us or when a visitor fancies a journey :) I'm a school teacher, Mehmet is a conservation architect, Damballah is a layabout an Lula likes fishing in the canal. PHILOSOPHY I think that an active participation in a project like this provides a fairly strong description of a persons philosophy.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING How else?? I have a couch to offer travelers, a broad knowledge of the city and whatever I can't help out with I'm sure someone else I know can. I travel quite alot and was introduced to couchsurfing by a friend before my journey from Berlin to Istanbul, I think this will be a lasting relationship :) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE All great!

Post punk, punk, wave, industrial and particularly strong tilt towards rembetika, if you have any interest in rembetika I looooooooooooove talking endlessly about it and playing it pretty constantly. Kenneth Anger, Derek Jarman, Lynch, Cronnenberg, Gregg Araki, Bruce La Bruce, etc. Burroughs, Ginsberg, Gysin, Kerouac, Blake, etc.
