I first registered when I was saying as au-pair in Germany, and I wanted to take advantage of my stay by visiting as many cities as I could. I had never taken part in something so adventurous as living in a completely foreign country and travelling all by myself, but it turned out to be great!! My favourite thing about the couchsurfing experience is that you really get to live and see the best parts of a city; the ones that the locals love.

I love folk music, every dancy song that says "80's!", trashy British rom-coms, horror books and every literature classic. I don't think there can be anything more inspiring to an adult than children books.
