I have only just started using couchsurf after recommendations from friends and people i have met travelling. It seems to me that it will be able to give me the opportunity to see new places and to meet locals from these places, one of the main reasons i love to travel.

Music - i have a wide range of musical tastes, from rock and indie guitar based music, to electronic and dance music. I love seeing live bands and during the summers i try to go to as many music festivals as i can. Films - Fight Club, Birdman, Whiplash, Trainspotting, Django Unchained, Inception, American History X Books - i study english literature at university so i spend a lot of my time reading! I am a huge fan of the beat generation, modernist writers such as TS Eliot and Virginia Wolfe, and classic american novels
