🚫🎲WE DO NOT HOST FOR GENCON🎲🚫 CURRENT MISSION: Be present now. 🧘 ABOUT US We are a very laid back, and a fairly outgoing couple. We love learning new things, trying new foods, and exchanging experiences. We both swiped right on tinder, and decided to put a ring on it. We're pretty into tabletop games, you'll see. ABOUT JEN Professionally, I am a web developer/designer. In my heart, I am an artist through and through. I mostly dabble in watercolor, but any medium is fun. There is no wrong way to create art! Wayy into music as well. We have various instruments around our home: rain sticks, bongos, a thumb piano, 2 ukuleles, and a guitar. I have dreams of a piano, but it'll probably be a keyboard. I love getting to know people. What are we carrying, where are we going, what are we doing here, what lesson did we learn getting here, and where do we aspire to grow? ABOUT BLAKE I am a very laid back, curious person. Quiet at first, until I open up, but I like sparking up conversations with interesting people. I probably fit the profile of a lot of people on couch surfing; I like to go places. Anywhere, really. One of my favorite past times is getting in a car with my friends, or alone, and driving with the intention of losing track of where I am. It's really something to drive with no destination in mind. I'm working downtown in Indianapolis for a company that helps Rolls-Royce with their aircraft engine design. Physics and math have always excited me, and I'm constantly curious about how things work and how they can work better. In my free time, I like to practice some circus arts, as I used to perform in a circus when I lived in Cincinnati. I started out as a unicyclist, but I've since picked up juggling and fire skills, among others. So I know that you're actually reading this, please start out your first message with "Aloha". I like to know that guests have read my profile, as it shows they're interested in me as a person (since this is a big part of what couch surfing is all about!) PHILOSOPHY Life is fleeting, we want to experience everything it has to offer. In our spare time we watch travel documentaries and hear stories, the more we realize how huge and diverse this planet is and we want to see experience. Couchsurfing is a great way to experience the world by letting part of the world stay with us. 🌍🌏🌎💞

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We love meeting new people, and sharing a meal. So much is shared with food. We participate by offering our private guest room, a meal the night of your arrival, in exange we just love having honest conversation. We have a large collection of board games if you need a little after dinner entertainment. We love this city, so if you need a solid recommendation, I could likely give it, but I'm always up or going to a new place! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We've couch surfed a few times with multiple hosts and have loved how personal it is. Having a local give you tips (or even a tour, if they're available!) is a fantastic way to experience a new city.

Blake barbequed in a friends backyard in the middle of Ohio... accompanied by a pair of elephants. Jen spent a summer "out there" living out of our car on a journey to find myself during a summer internship in Denver. She's always loved the idea of vanlife and tiny living. Plus building out the car was cheaper than Denver Rent, so we decided to build out our car on a shoestring budget. (Seriously, ask me about this. It was an amazing time and I'll treasure it always.)

TEACH/SHARE: Blake dabbles in circus arts, he can teach you some of the skills he's picked up during his time in the circus; Such as: juggling, unicycling, fire spinning, fire eating, slacklining and ballooning. Jennifer trained as a massage therapist, self taught ukulele player, artist, and art enthusiast. Our latest obsession is mushroom hunting. They're everywhere, even a short walk around the city you can find mushrooms. We're all about identifying mushrooms in our area, and are sometimes able to find delectable snacks or garneshes for a meal. LEARN We enjoy cooking together, and i feel it is the most intimate ways of sharing culture. We love learning new recipes, and very interested to see how different cultures cook.
