CURRENT MISSION To see, learn, feel, touch, hear, smell, taste, experience, and love as much as possible ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Jimmy. I was born in the Netherlands, but I feel anything but connected to just this piece of land: I'm a world citizen, a globetrotter. I love traveling for many reasons and that is what I've been doing for quite a while. Now I have settled back home in Rotterdam. Besides traveling I love meeting interesting people, also for many reason. I can tell you more, but you'll just have to find out for yourself PHILOSOPHY Recently I gave up looking for the answer to the question: What is the meaning of life? Instead I now try to live by the question: How can I make my life more meaningful? That is my main philosophy, among many others. And the good things is that you can do this in a 1000 different ways

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have used couchsurfing alot during my travels, but now that I'm settled back home I would like to give back all the hospitality that was given to me. My couch is open to all you travelers. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I love sleeping on couches!

Life is one continues amazing journey of course, but if I must name one: I've seen the sun rise and set behind the icy peaks somewhere deep in the Himalayas. That was one hell of a sight

What I can teach: I can teach you yoga (asanas & pranayama). Besides I play ukulele and sing a little, so if you have an instrument we can always jam a little, or if you just want to learn how to play ukulele/guitar I can show you the basics. What I want to learn: There are numerous things I want to learn, but I'm most interested in your cuisine (how and what you cook), if you play music I'd love to learn some of your skill and besides of course anything about the place you live (culture, language etc.).

I'm interested in many things, but when I'm traveling I like to be absorbed in the culture of a country: The people, their language,their behavior, their food, the music, the way they live etc. etc.
