Derek - grew up in Tulsa, lived in Arkansas for 10 years, now living in Wichita. Currently working as a landscaper at WSU.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
We have met so many amazing people and heard so many stories from the Couch Surfers that we have hosted, and have also met at our friend Tim's house. I have not yet met someone who I didn't like, and who didn't have amazing experiences to share with us!

Movies - anything Kevin Smith, Harry Potter, Star Wars, anything Quentin Tarantino, lots of comedies :) TV Shows - Workaholics, the League, X-Files, Weeds, Dexter, Roseanne, Six Feet Under, Hannibal, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, The B in Apt 23, Trailer Park Boys Music - Hanson, Foo Fighters, Sublime, Tenacious D, Classical, and just about everything except Nickelback ;-)

The most amazing thing was the birth of our son. It was an incredible, transformative experience.

Teaching: childbirth education, music/cello, & home brewing. Learning: would love to learn more about everything!! Katie loves cooking and learning new recipes.
