New friends and new connections, affordable travel, experiences and recommendations I wouldn't get from a typical tourist trip!
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Music: Classical music and opera; lots of other genres! Movies: I'm not really a movie buff, but when I do feel like a film, I like dramas, historic dramas, comedies, and sometimes animated films. Books: I love to read when I have the time. I like classic novels, mysteries, some true stories and biographies.

I am a second-generation ChildFund sponsor - my parents' sponsor child grew up, and I now sponsor his first-born daughter. I got to meet her and her family, plus see a whole lot of other work that is being done through ChildFund in Kenya.

I love to share what I know, and to learn from others. I love the arts, culture, and languages. If you get me started on a topic, I will happily chat about it for hours!

I love visiting museums, monuments, and all the historic stuff, going to concerts/shows/getting my music geek on, chatting over food or coffee, and just exploring! I love languages. I enjoy helping people learn English, and I won't laugh at mistakes unless they are really hilarious ones!
