Fellow Couchsurfers My name is Lars Brand and I just graduated from school with the dream to study medicine. Apart from the school I work as a waiter in a Restaurant to earn some money that I spend for the traveling, my hobbies and the evenings with my friends. There is always something where you can get rid of your money :D Referring to my hobbies I play the guitar for more than 10 years. It was love at first sight when I held a guitar in my hands the first time and I am still in love today. Contrary to that quite side I go to gym in order to stay in shape and in general I like all kinds of sports. Running or Biking through the nature or snowboarding in the mountains belong to my personal favorites. In addition I like to play basketball and soccer. I preferably spend my free evenings hanging out with my friends sipping at a beer or celebrating. PHILOSOPHY Seize the day!

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I am couchsurfing in order to experience the world from a different angle and to interchange with others. That's why I consider it as a much cooler method to travel in contrast to casual tourism
Musik, Filme und Bücher
I am not choosey when it comes to music. From 80' to actual hits, from Whitesnake over Billy Idol, Guns N' Roses or Bob Marley to the Foo Fighters ... I listen to everything. I also like the old-school American hip hop and actual rappers
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
The main adventure that comes to my mind is an Interrail trip through Europe in 2016 where I also used this platform. It was the best time I had so far. Moreover the festivals and concerts I went to are also mentionable as amazing experiences, for example the hip hop festival "splash" , the african-Caribbean festival, a Bryan Adams concert and lot more.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
My aim of travelling is to experience the local cultures in the cities and the nature and to have a great time. I could teach you some guitar riffs or how to pronounce "Dankeschön" in German. Moreover I could try to cook a typical German dish without guaranteeing that it is esculent
