Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
Because I care. I think Couchsurfing is one of the few remaining stronghold of freedom in a profit driven world which has come to monetize every aspect of traveling. I’m glad to be supporting it. Also, I love to tell extended versions of my life story to strangers, and listen to theirs

Bonfire of Vanities, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, Miller, Vonnegut and HS Thompson. Lots of Italian contemporary classics (eg Gadda, Calvino, Sciascia). I’m a Werner Herzog fan and have spent a decent amount of my college time watching films. I like Takeshi Kitano and Kim Ki-Duk, but also David Lynch, the Coen Brothers and Sergio Leone.
