I usually travel in cheap hostels around the world which is great but you'll end up meeting a lot of other travelers and barely any locals. I think couchsurfing is perfect for getting a picture of what the locals do day in and out in comparison to what the tourists would do. The perfect example is my hometown Zürich, I believe it's a city where there aren't many interesting touristic things to do but once you know a local you'll really get to see the city with all its awesome secrets.

I pretty much listen to anything except coutry-music, heavy metal and everything thats on the mainstream radio. I would say most times I listen to reggae, goa and techno. Of course I enjoy Movies and Books but nothing special in perticular.
