ABOUT ME An optimistic scientist! I enjoy cycling round town and meeting up with friends to drink beer (maybe whisky) and pontificate on the world. Living in London, i like to make the most of the art galleries/museums and think i can make at least a poorly informed comment on mostly everything. I enjoy sharing and listening to stories and for that I love travelling round the world (India/Cuba is my favourite destination so far). I think its important to try and experience a bit of the local life rather than just pass through ticking boxes. PHILOSOPHY don't knock it till you've tried it!

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have couchsurfed once in Washington D.C. and had a most excellent time. Will stay in contact with hosts and hoping to get more involved with the community! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have slept on many sofas before. These are like couches, only English.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Wes Anderson, Coen brothers films and the Bill and Ted films. Rage against the machine through Sigur Ros and Jurassic 5. Pop science and classic books.
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
I am the United Kingdom's Cold Water National Swimming Champion.... though only two people turned up for the event and we came joint first.
Meine Interessen
In my free time i like to go on bike rides, play squash or football, waste time on the internet, maybe a run, aspire to be cultural by reading good books (classics interspersed with tripe), listening to music, thinking about how to fix the world and trying to cook something different.
