*****HABLO ESPANOL / FALO PORTUGUES ***** CURRENT MISSION: Automate and delegate everything. ABOUT ME: ME: 42, born in North Dakota, grew up in Nebraska, studied, wandered, worked all over. I'm fascinated by everything international and follow travel trends via various websites. Bloggers/podcasters opened my eyes to new ways of getting from A to B which inspired me to bicycle tour South America and decode frequent flyer programs for free travel. My free time is mostly spent working online and listening to podcasts, but movies and good food are also high on the list. Fun Facts: my smile is lop-sided; I flush public toilets with my shoe; I turn off lights; I find poetry in refrigerator word magnets. Fortune Cookie, February 12th, 2007: "You will travel to exotic places."

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING OPENNESS: You write, I write, viceversa. We can share ideas and couches. Whenever possible I organize gatherings, parties, and dinners with local CS communities both where I live and in cities I visit. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfed every continent. Hosted 50+ travelers in my Texas apartment. More in my Costa Rican, Brazilian, Argentine, Thai, and Colombian homes. Many hosts and surfers remain close friends to this day.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
MOVIES: Anything good from high budget Hollywood to independent film from around the world. When I have a home I'll buy a proper projector/sound system and grow a digital collection of world movies. Quote me on it. MUSIC: I love discovering new music on YouTube. Lots of hip hop randomness lately: Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Skepta, and hip hop lofi compilations while working. AUTHORS: I try to read uplifting authors but at bedtime I'm always cuddled up with the down-and-outers who live/lived their literature. I'm inspired by adventurers who become writers because their lives are stories needing to be told. My favorite book of all time is Shantaram. MEMORABLE BOOKS: Papillon, Flash, Serpentine, Azteca, La noche boca arriba, The Beach, Unbroken
