Looking forward to making connections while traveling and getting to know the communities I visit. I grew up in a very rural, very small town which informed a lot of my values. In our household the definition of family extended to friends and community. This holds true for me to this day, I love feeling connected to communities and really getting to know the people in them. When I am able to make these connections while traveling, I feel a much stronger sense of place and the experience feels more rewarding, which is one of the primary reasons I am couch surfing. I hope to host in the future, my current availability is limited by couch-surfing dogs that have taken up permanent residencies with my housemate and I.

Sci-fi/fantasy in all things. I also enjoy reading historical fiction, mystery, and literature that expands my social consciousnesses. I love old movies and food documentary television. My music taste is all over the place, but I love a good bop no matter the genre.
