When I travel, I've always lived by the couchsurfing ethos -- the countries I've visited have been with the intention of seeing friends and socializing. I find that my own personal growth and development are greatly enhanced by such experiences. This site strikes me as a way to increase those moments, and to extend that opportunity to others in a much larger community.
