Hey there, I am a German college student, about to start my masters degree in economics at the University of Nottingham. My hobbies mainly evolve around sports, I am a cheerleader, love working out and enjoy water sports and snowboarding a lot. When at home, I spend a plenty of time with my family. I'm very adventorous when travelling and love to meet locals to authentically experience the places I visit.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I made my first experience with Couchsurfing in Hawaii and just thought it was such an amazing platform and community. What better way is there to experience a country or city than to stay with a local and also be able to spend your money on fun stuff rather than an acommodation!
Musik, Filme und Bücher
I currently love country music. My favorite movie is "Love actually", even though it's probably the cheesiest thing to watch. One of the best books I've read lately is "the signature of all things" by Elizabeth Gilbert. Also "Die Stunde zwischen Frau und Gitarre" for anyone who can understand is a great reading. I thought "Beloved" is an incredible book and I am currently afraid to read another one by Toni Morrison because I feel like it can only be worse.
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
My first Coach Surfing experience was in Hawaii and I must say, it was amazing. I had the most trustful and kind host, she treated me like she'd known me forever and it was just a great experience. She even took me surfing, which was awesome since she was a semi professional.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I am trying to decide between the following sports to learn right now: Tennis, Volleyball and Boxing.. very open for suggestions here. To learn another language during my masters would also be great, I am thinking possibly Japanese.
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
There is plenty of stories about my travels I can share, but also experiences from actually living and studying in so many different countries (4, that is). If asked, I will never say no to cooking a nice (semi) German dish for you :).
