I think, couch surfing is a great opportunity to meet new people, and to get to know some locals who can help you wherever you are.

Music: Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Eminem/D12..., Enno Bunger, Mighty Oaks, Katie Melua, Ludovico Einaudi ... Too many. Movies/Series: The Pianist, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, As it is in heaven, The Green Butchers, Kill Bill... Too many. :D Books: Fantasy - like Markus Heitz, Lian Hearn, Tollkien; Crime/Thriller - like Joe Nesboe, Jussi Adler-Olsen; Historical novels - especially Ken Follett

As I told you: I'm good for everything :-) I've learned playing a couple of instruments, and I've played a couple of sports. I love it to try new things, cook new receipts, learn new board or card games... And I'm very curious about every new guy I meet :-)
