CURRENT MISSION To travel Canada and meet interesting people along the way ABOUT ME My name is Sam Hodder. I am from a small rural locality called Brogo in the Bega Valley, far south coast, NSW Australia. I am 19 years old and have just departed on my first international trip to Canada. I am traveling with my Canadian friend Vicki, who I know from Australia. We are looking forward to meeting new people and spending time in the outdoors. I am in the final stages of a traineeship at an organization called 'The Crossing Land Education Centre' in Bermagui NSW. There I spend time leading groups of teens and adults in outdoor activities (hiking, canoeing, cycling) and work on the property, learning about sustainable living. Also, I work for National Parks doing Koala surveys. In my spare time I play club cricket and soccer. Growing up in Brogo, Ive helped my family and have had work building, fencing and landscaping.
