Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
To share with and experience amazing people from around the world in my home at the farm and abroad!
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
After several years of poor health and recovering from a major knee, hip and back injury, I decided I couldn't live without farm animals. Eager to have a more tactile life and needing to be on a place that requires outside work everyday, I rented out our beautiful house with a pool in Ashland, Oregon and bought a nearby farm. After more than a year of renovation, it has become a wonderful gathering place we are excited to share with others.

My couch is located on an 8 acre farm nestled in the gently sloping hills between Ashland and Talent, Oregon. The sunrise here is not to be missed! Close to town, it's a 10 minute drive to downtown Ashland, Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Visiting city folk enjoy life on the farm, learning about animal husbandry, land restoration, goat milking and cheese making. This spring we have Black Angus cows calving in the field, and it's kidding season for our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. Heritage breed turkeys and chickens are soon to arrive. In spring, summer, and fall we are avid rafters and whitewater kayakers happy to share a day with adventurers who come to stay or point you in the right direction for a day on the river without us. You can also enjoy world class mountain biking on nearby trails.
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
