I have been married for 21 years to my lovely wife Nicole. We have two children Jack (19) and Jena (15). I live in Edina, Mn. I am a faculty member at Concordia University. I teach many of my graduate classes online. This means that I have a lots of flexibility as long as I have good internet access. I like to believe that I am a fun guy. I have many great friends from high school, college, and other. I am very active and like to bike, run, snowboard, read, and spend time in front of my computer interacting with students (really). I believe that I am friendly, respectful, and sociable. To that end, I am not a 'talk a mile of minute' type person. Lastly, I am trying to learn Spanish. I have a tutor and I am taking classed. I am about 10% fluent.

I would like to meet new and interesting people. I am open to new experiences. My family has exchanged homes with families from all over the country and the world. We are comfortable sharing our home and building unique relationships with new people.

I like alternative music. However, I listen to almost anything. I read business books (stay current) and interesting books about travel experiences. I also like Steinbeck and Hemingway.

I really like cycling...mountain and road riding, snowboarding, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends. I like to have a few beers and chill with interesting people. A great day for me includes doing something physically challenging, a great meal at a unique hangout, and a few craft beers.
