I am exploring New England this summer and joined Couch Surfing just recently. I am a single 55 year young semi retired mom of 2- one at MSU and one graduated and off to NYC! I grew up on a farm in Illinois, have lived mostly in beautiful Michigan. ome of my favorite things about travel is, as Dr. Seuss says, "oh the people you will meet..."!

Some of the best discoveries of a new place are the people I meet; a shared story about their favorite place or experience or memory of the area. That's when the location becomes alive!
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Part of a small 8 day sea kayaking expedition in Greenland. We "couch surfed" on centuries old campsites and village common areas.
