I am a researcher and I am trying to figure out how my brain works! Isn't that cool? I think its pretty cool that I get to build functional brain models! I am doing a PhD (with a focus on computational neuroscience) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Apart from that I am pretty easy going and open minded. I love to have deep, long philosophical discussions with people and am always fascinated by different perspectives people come up with. My goal in life is to keep discovering myself and the world and to live my life to the fullest! I hope to make a positive difference in the world before I leave.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I really like some of Andy Grammar's songs (keep your head up, fine by me, crazy beautiful, etc..). I also like some of the songs by a band named Coke Studio. When by myself, I like to listen to deeply meaningful songs. I don't really watch a lot of movies, but I usually like science fiction (inception and interstellar are two of my favourites) - that might be because of my love for brain and universe! "Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku is one of my favourite books.

I listened to my true calling and chose to study the brain over going to industry and earning thousands of dollars. And I am proud of myself for doing that!

I love teaching so I am always willing to share everything I know. Would like to learn about lives and perspectives of other people (specially ones with vastly different opportunities).

- outdoor adventurous stuff (hiking, biking, running are some of my favourites!) - meeting people from different cultures - taking natural pictures - travelling to grow, learn and make a difference - I love dancing too! - Am also vastly fascinated by the universe and would love to explore it ;)
