I do not have a lot of money and I enjoy travelling comfortably but inexpensively and safely. As a traveller (and not a tourist) I like to meet people in their homes and communities so I can better understand what their cultures are really about. I find all kinds of people interesting and enjoy connecting with them.

1970s music, rock and pop. Canadian, alternative American, Australian, New Zealand, Lebanese and movies that are made in countries not known for film making, alternative. My own books, murder mysteries, the classics; books by Isabel Allende, Margaret Laurence, Margaret Atwood, Susan Musgrave and something by an author I have never read before.
