I am an undergraduate at Caltech, a math and science oriented university in Pasadena, a cozy LA suburb. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading post-modern literature, digging for obscure electronic music online, dancing and daydreaming about upcoming travel plans ;)

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
I believe that traveling to a new place is just as much about seeing all the main tourist attraction as it is about meeting the locals and experiencing their way of life. I hope this service enables me to meet new people I would not meet otherwise and experience new places in an unusual way :)

For the past 5 years I have attended the Nutcracker ballet on New Year's Eve at Bolshoi theater in Moscow with a childhood friend I have known since kindergarten, who is studying to be a theater critic with a specialty in dance
