I traded my stock options for a lonely planet.My cell phone for a compass.My briefcase for a backpack. I took off. I wandered in the company of tourists,travellers and a guitar as old as me. I learned that people are good, strangers are fascinating. And that every journey reveals another. I've lost track of time .And perhaps my job and my apartment... But i have my compass and i know it's pointing me in the right direction.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Have hosted many travelers in all three places where I have lived in the past seven years - Bangkok, Goa and Mumbai. Also surfed as a guest on several trips to Europe over the years - and met up with some wonderful people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Absolutely great!

I'm a content creator who makes videos for a non-profit organisation that works with farmers in Maharashtra. I also make independent video content for my own personal YouTube channel, and have worked as a freelance communications consultant for the United Nations and other NGOs. Working as part of the creative team of Satyamev Jayate - India's biggest and currently most successful TV show, hosted by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan Working as part of the core team of Paani Foundation, a non-profit that has transformed the lives of thousands of poor farmers across Maharashtra Crossing over a landslide just after it happened - because we had to get to the other side! Taking ten flights in as many days - to shoot a documentary over four different countries! Directing and editing a series for Portuguese TV - without actually speaking the language! Visiting the house of Mukesh Ambani - who enjoyed the distinction of being ranked the richest man in the world in 2007 (higher than Bill Gates and Warren Buffett!). I also shot interviews with him and his family for a project I was working on.

Well, I can teach you how to use a video camera - if that's of any use any more! :) I can also tell all you want to know about India - and there's a lot to tell! Can give you useful tips on places off the beaten track worth visiting, and things to see that tourists may not ever know about ! And of course, I can also teach you some basic Hindi which might be useful while traveling.
