Staying with locals is an unique experience and much better than staying in hotels.

I would say the trip I am currently doing. Hitchhiking, couchsurfing, volunteering and wildcamping through Europe. Crossing the atlantic on a sailboat and exploring Latinamerica. Started on first of April 2019
