RV Parking. I have beer :-)

Hi Guys I'm traveling on a budget from California to Montreal. Do you know about the rules on parking RV on the streets? Do you know anyone who could let me park on their property? I have 3 dogs. We are all well behaved :-). I also would love exploring pubs with you and going to the Jazz Fest merci!

You can park in the streets, but observe the parking signs! There is once a week street cleaning during summer (so usually 1-3h of no parking) and be sure not to park in a delivery (livraison) space or reserved for residents with parking permit (red square with permit code).

Downtown will all be paid parking, which you'll need to top up every 2-3h.

In the past, other RV drivers were recommended to go to the big Walmart across the road from the Namur metro station and ask if they can park there for a few nights. Unfortunately none of the CSers ever came back to report their success rate. Place Versailles is another option with a metro station next door.

Anything else will be harder to transfer to public transit. This includes private driveways, since you'll rarely find those anywhere near transit hubs.
