Hi! First time in Trinidad? Chaguarams is mostly a place where they have different places to keep boats. Inside of some these places there are some nice bars and restaurants, usually more expensive and quite than in town, so probably more difficult to meet people there. I reccomend you to go to Port of Spain, on the weekends Ariapita Avenue is a nice place to hang around at night and go liming (as Trinis say), there are some cool bars and places with nice music and drinks. There you will be able to see more people. You can also go to the famous Smokey and Bounty in Sait James for trully Trini experience.

Near Chaguaramas there are some nice beaches, and from also, from Chaguaramas you could take a bout to go down the isles (a group of smaller islands near the coast). Ask for that

Depends on your interests. Chaguramas there is public golf course, hiking trails, Macqueripe beach, mountain biking bike rental and riding trails and ziplining. Also restaurants and bars.
