Hi all! I am planning a 10 day trip in early December. I am planning on stopping at Franz Joseph and Milford Sound on the way. Any additional recommendations? What are the top 3 thing that I MUST see on my trip? Cheers Max

Hey Bro where in Franz are you looking to stay at? I recommend stopping at Punakaiki, to see the Pancake rocks. If the weather is stormy it will be at its best. Do some shopping in Hokitika as the super market in Franz Josef is small and slightly expensive. I live in Franz so can point you in the right direction.

Hey Cameron! Thanks for the quick reply. I have yet to book anything in Franz, but am super stoked about stopping there. Your recommendations look great. My only plans for the area were to climb the glacier, and spend a night or 2 there. If you're keen on grabbing a drink one of those nights, that would be stellar! Thanks again

hey Max, I intend going to Franz at the beginning of December as well. I have a van that I'm staying in at the moment. Do you have a vehicle? If you want to meet up sometime on the weekend to talk about it, and possibly grab a beer at the same just let me know. I'm in town all weekend.
