To be brown on the motherland
I find myself struggling with emotional burdens, as a brown female and a minority. The ignorance and disrespect cuts deep. There are days when I sweep the pain under a rug but on a smile then I have days when I want to burn down my countrymen. I hold on to Christ and pray on those days.
