Guys hi i am coming from 25-to 29 of september on Gijon need advice.

i would like quite places to eat after 15:00 or general what worth paying a visit or seeing. Any local advice would be highly appreciated.

I recommend you to walk along the San Lorenzo beach, and then go all the way until the "mother of the inmigrant monument", it is a nice walk by the cliffs. You can also visit the botanical gardens, and walk around the old town "cimadevilla". To eat after 4 it is a bit complicated because most of restaurants in Spain close from 4 to 8pm, but you can find some cafés that will be open, for example near Begoña square, where you can have a "pincho", which is like small baguete or sandwich. Enjoy the city!

Free I recommend Parque Isabel la Católica, Museo Barjola, Chillidas Monument "Elogio al Horizonte" is a good walk from Cimadevilla and the view of the city and the sea is stunning. Eating good seafood in Terras Galegas, a good ice cream while walkimg San Lorenzo beach. Dont leave without trying some local cider in a sidrería, and the traditional way of pouring it.

Thank you so much both for your answers, about free is not an issue i don't mind at all paying for it i will definitely try your ideas. it kinda makes me sad that good restaurants are closed at the time i want, since in Greece they usually open at around that time lol. Thank you so much really appreciate it.
