Hi everyone, I am a traveller from Vietnam, Iwould love to go up to Mt Rigi but the price it is too over my low budget. Anyone can give me some advice to go up this time ( maybe by hikking) with the cheapest way. I really appreciate. At this moment I am in Lucern.

Hi,

the Rigi has some prepared winter hiking paths, you can find them at https://www.rigi.ch/en/Experience-Enjoy/Winter/Winter-hiking-trails as far as I see non of them start at the bottom so you have to take the expensive train up at least for some part.

But there is also an offer from the SBB (train company) that gives you a 50% discount on the rigi, maybe that fits your budget http://www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/day-trips/ideas-for-your-freetime.angebotdetail.tagesausfluege-plausch-berge-rigi_winter.html

If you're going please keep in mind that even if the trails are prepered and safe you're still in an alpine winter environment. Besides warm cloth be sure to have proper shoes and don't take any risks.
