Hi all ! Inauguration of this section (who will read.. or not ?) So what about Gosford, enjoying time here ?

I will spend 6 month in Gosford (working holidays VISA), working (McConaghy) and I hope enjoying local life ! So any advices about accommodation (where, who, how, how much...), activities (sport, nature, cultural, party.. or do nothing..), people.. I am curious, see my profile, no hesitation, tell me more about Gosford !

Great national parks. Norah head lighthouse and walk to Terrigal from there along the beach. You may need a bicycle if staying in the suburbs or near the beaches.

I live in Gosford. Depends what you are looking for. But there are definitely heaps of beautiful local National Parks for you to explore. I recommend Pines Creek Loop, Somersby Falls, and Boudi. There are heaps of beaches close by.

Hi !

Thanks for your answers, a lot of nature here, I like that ! I bought a bicycle to explore around, very important for me.. But it is not a mountain bicycle so I will stay on the roads for the moment..

A practical question about accommodation ads, I don't receive answers from gumtree people, am I blacklisted as French or is more about short term stay (6 month), difficult to find ? I hope settle this details quickly, I cannot wait to enjoy life here !
