Looking to start weekly hangouts for couchsurfers/locals here. Any suggestions for cool places? Interested in helping?
Hey Grand Junction couch surfing people. I just arrived in town and am staying here for 5 weeks before doing some overseas travel. I'm thinking about making this area a home base for a while though, so I thought I'd see if anyone here was interested in starting a weekly hang out of some kind in town.
I've been to CS weekly events in cities in the US (Seattle, Philadelphia) and overseas (Hong Kong, Dubai) and they almost always tend to bring cool people together, especially when hosts bring guests.
Any interest? I'm up for whatever-- a night a good bar, coffee shop hang outs, outdoor picnic or hikes, even a game night if someone else wants to set that up (not much experience there for me). Let me know if you know a good place. I was thinking of trying to start this Thursday or Friday, maybe around 7pm? I'm flexible though.
