Hope you are interested to be member of this site because you are really interested to know about the country you are visiting. The receiver usually hopes to share about its own country history, legends, traditions, gastronomy, music, and its roots in general. This is an excellent opportunity to meet real people who are giving you a hand in your trip and in your culture. To love something we must first know it ;) Also the receiver would be interested on hearing about your country and roots ;) hope you can share too ;)

Going to the US Virgin Islands... suggestions?

Hello All!

This is my first trip to the US side of the Virgin Islands, and I was hoping to hear from anyone who has visited any of the three main islands.

I am into island exploration (great sites), natural wonders (no waterfalls, I know), and since it is also my cousin's birthday, we hope to do a great deal of celebrating...!

***Things that were helpful to me in the past: In Barbados, someone let me know that the big 'fish fry' was in St. Michael's on Friday night.. Other times, it was really a tourist trap. Very helpful on an island with so much to see.

In Dominica, a good friend let me know about a festival taking place on the south part of the island on specific dates so that I could schedule my road trip accordingly. I was able to meet up with other CS'ers on the night of the concert for a great night of food, drink & dance!

Another CS'er told me about a little bar hidden away in a small province that had the best drinks on the island!

Thank you in advance for your responses & I look forward to hearing about your favorite experiences!

All the best,

James (Infinite Journey)

Hello Here! I ask myself, and especially to Orenda: what's the goal of this sub-group? It's empty, no posts, and it was created in 2009! And, above all, can you please change the name of this sub-group? you called it as the main group, so somebody made me notice that it can give ambiguity in group searching...

Thank you, and keep on CSing and Living! Mauro :-)
