Looking for a host in Houston (June 29th - July 5th) for the World Cup!

Hey guys! I’m a 21-year-old student from Japan (currently based in London). I’ll be in Houston from June 29 to July 5 for the World Cup. I’m looking for a place to crash and, more importantly, awesome people to connect with! Even if you can’t host for the whole time, staying just for 3 days or so would be amazing. Any late hours (or 24/7) locker or parking garage for World Cup days?

Hi Houstonians!

I'm planning on driving a long, long distance to Houston to attend one World Cup match on June (Yes! I was lucky enough!).

I won't stay at a hotel on that night as the costs are prohibitive for me. And as you probably know, you basically can't get anything into the NRG Stadium with you. I'm carrying a couple of computers and a lot of stuff in my car since I'll also be in the middle of a roadtrip through the southern US, so I was wondering if anyone here knows if there are some more practical "luggage storage" services than the ones that you can find on the internet (the match is at 6pm, and the luggage storage services I found close at 6 or 7pm so, they're useless for me)?

Another option for me is getting a safe and secure parking garage where I can just leave my car with all of my belongings for just a couple of hours. Does anyone know of an inexpensive (NRG parking prices will certainly be extremely expensive) parking garage that is safe and preferably close to any Metro Red Line station?

May I also use this thread to publicly ask if any CSer has secured a ticket for any of the World Cup matches that will take place in Houston?
