I think best cakes are in Vatra (10 meters away from the Vječna Vatra - a monument), at least I've tasted the best ones from there.

Another place that is actually not far from there is called Dessert (or Dezert maybe) I think, they make cakes and other sweets. It's located in Titova street.

I believe Torte i to from the link above are quite good too, but I went to the place just once, I think they're good too.

Eventually, I think most of the stores selling cakes by piece would sell a whole cake as well. Happy birthday lol..

I'd go for Dessert shop, their best cakes are mousse and nutella, both very chocolaty. There's also Torte i to, a lot of options and great ones. :)
