Mountain biking in Colombia
We are travelling around Colombia for two months (mid-July until mid- September) and want some advice on some great single track trails. Any recommendations or if anyone wants to go riding, let us know :)

Es muy bueno ir acompañado por gente de los lugares que quieran rodar y también avisar a los amigos por dónde se mueven. No es por angustiaros, pero infortunadamente la inseguridad en todo el país es latente, entonces, mejor estar bien acompañados. Ir en bicis que no sean ostentosas, ni lujosas. Ir muy bien referenciados y acompañados. Es posible rodar siempre, pero antes, insisto, medidas de seguridad extremas.
Hi, you could find routes from Chía to Tabio, Tenjo, Sopó, Cajicá. Just follow mountain biker, Saturday and Sunday. There are safe a fin trips

If you're into MTB and singletrack I can help you with lots of options based on your riding style and level. There are some beautiful places to visit around Bogotá such as Guatavita and Choachi and also farther away. Are you coming with your bikes? Message me and I'll be glad to take you guys out to ride one day.
Hey Giovanni! We aren't travelling with bikes this time unfortunately as we are doing a year long trip however we are looking to rent some. We'll be in Bogota by the 9th for two weeks so we'll message you closer to the date and organise a day to go riding :)

We are in Cartagena at the moment but making our way towards Bogota in 2 weeks. Thanks for the recommendation. We've downloaded the app - so many trails :)
Hello Jelena, You are welcome here! As other people told you, there are a lot of routes near to Bogota, I'm also available to ride with you in the North area (Chía, cota, cajica, Zipaquirá) you can check those places if you like, I would like to hear from you again, I will be here until the last week of July and I will come back the first week of September :D
