Hi!! I can recommend you to go to Intramuros! it really worth it: many interesting colonial heritage places, the walls of the old city, churches and cathedrals, government buildings and of course great filipino food!!

Yes Antonio is right, Intramuros would be great to see, from there you could quickly learn about the history of Manila and even the Philippines in general, there is the world-heritage-listed Church there called San Agustin Church which is something you should not miss! For culinary stop you can also visit the nearby Chinatown district which is the oldest Chinatown in the world located in Binondo, Manila. For souvenirs, if you are looking for comfort in shopping you may head to SM malls like in Mall of Asia, SM Ayala, SM Megamall for their KULTURA shops, and you can get almost anything you need there as souvenirs from the Philippines. You may also want to try TIENDESITAS but that is a little bit far off the main commuting network.

The nearest to the airport is Intramuros and after you can go to SM Mall of Asia to buy souvenir in Kultura.
