Buses are probably your best option around Yorkshire as Taxis with private companies and also Uber are extremely expensive.

If you are down in the London area then you can purchase an Oyster card which you can top up with currency and use on both the buses and subway.

Buses and coaches are tje best way taxis are too expensive. Also there is car share you have to get an app to down load.. If i can help in anyway just get in touch anytime

Some people use bla bla car but normally only between bigger cities..there is a site called Liftshare too..Otherwise megabus and national express go to most places :)

Megabus and Scottish Citylink. There are also some cheap deals on trains if you book early enough.
